The Creative Buzzzz
May 24 2012 The creative buzz has been very strong recently - so many ideas - so much stuff going on in my already overcrowded head....honest - at times being creative can be a curse! I have so many projects on the go at the moment, and I find it hard to choose which to complete. I have a couple of paintings waiting to be finished...an art journal that is crying out for some new work....but I'm currently on a textiles splurge. Today, I think, will be spent mostly weaving...and a little bit of hand embroidery on a lovely velvet and silk cushion. I also have some heart shaped brooches I need to get finished! See what I mean abut being unable to focus on one thing? One activity? To calm my busy mind, I will start weaving, an activity I haven't done for many years, I want to make an A4 sized mixed media woven panel that will be a center piece for a wall hanging. Whilst doing the soothing weave, I shall watch 'Cider with Rosie' on my laptop.... I've never seen the film, but the book I love!
